Terms and Conditions

We kindly ask that you take a moment to read these terms carefully. By using our services, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions set out by WAM Pet Services.

1. Bookings

All bookings must be made directly through Worcester and Malvern Pet Services. Bookings are confirmed once payment or deposit has been received.

2. Payments

Payments must be made directly to the business. Pet sitters are assigned by the business, and clients should not make payments directly to individual sitters.

3. Deposits

For longer bookings such as overnight pet sitting or holiday care, a 50% deposit may be required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the service begins.

4. Regular Services

For ongoing services such as dog walking, payments are usually made weekly in advance unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the booking will not incur a charge. Cancellations made within 24–48 hours may incur a 50% charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ noticemay require full payment.

6. Sitter Assignment

Worcester and Malvern Pet Services will assign a trusted pet sitter based on availability. While we try to maintain consistency, the assigned sitter may vary.

7. Direct Booking

Clients agree not to arrange services directly with pet sitters introduced through Worcester and Malvern Pet Services. All future bookings must be made through the business.

8. Pet Health & Safety

Clients must provide full and accurate information about their pet(s), including behaviour, medical conditions, feeding routines, exercise needs and any history of aggression or behavioural concerns must be disclosed prior to booking.

9. Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, Worcester and Malvern Pet Services will attempt to contact the owner immediately. If this is not possible, the sitter may seek veterinary care in the pet’s best interest. Any associated costs will be the responsibility of the owner.

10.Access & Security

Clients must provide safe and secure access to the property. Keys, alarm codes and instructions must be clearly provided prior to the booking.

11.Overnight House Sitting

To ensure the wellbeing of our sitters and to enable them to provide the highest standard of care, clients are required to provide a safe, clean, and suitable environment. This included appropriate and comfortable sleeping arrangements, such as a bed, for the duration of sitter’s stay.

We may request photos of the property prior to confirming a booking. This is to ensure the environment is safe, appropriate, and comfortable for our sitters, and allows us to match the right sitter to your home and pets.

Clients must inform us of any CCTV or recording devices in or around the property. This is essential for the privacy, safety, and wellbeing of our sitters. Cameras must not be placed in private areas such as bedrooms and bathrooms.

12.Liability

Worcester and Malvern Pet Services is fully insured; however, we are not responsible for pre-existing issue within the home, unforeseen incidents beyond our control and any damages caused by pets must be disclosed.

13.Agreement

By confirming a booking with Worcester and Malvern Pet Services, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
